2018:
I always knew that one day or another, I would want to live the great adventure: that of going to a foreign country, discovering a whole new way of life, and that for several months.
Combining school and work in a company to obtain my Bac +3 diploma, I'm starting to think much more seriously about all this. I feel like it's the right time, I'm ready to go. But how? Where? How does it work?
I ended up discovering the "Chefs de France" program on the internet, in Florida in the United States.
That's already huge, but that's not all... This program takes you straight to Orlando, where Disney World is located!! Yes, yes, where Mickey could become my boss...
Indeed, through this opportunity, you can, as a French person, go and work for a year or 6 months in the amusement park as a cultural representative.
For me, it's the chance of a lifetime. Passionate about English and always curious to discover this immense country, the United States was at the top of my list. And Disney, also a fan of this whole universe even at 20 years old, I don't hesitate a second longer, I try my luck without really believing all this is possible.
November 4, 2018 : Here I am at Lyon airport, just minutes away from embarking on the adventure of a lifetime, heading to Orlando!
